This was taken on a sojourn into rural North Carolina with my uncle Alexis; a master builder with an affinity for photography and the arts. The interior of this abandoned feed truck was beautifully lit by the falling afternoon light - Thanksgiving Day 2005. There was something about the rope left on the seat that made me uncomfortable.

We lived in North Carolina for about 5 years. Virginia and NC are my favorite states as far as the beauty and not being landlocked is always a plus. What an incredible find and capture. 2005 and still lookin' good. I wouldn't have guessed the image was that old. You can never go wrong with rust:-)

The cab of this feed truck hasn't seen life in some time, but you've been able to breath some fresh air into this scene. Nice tight crop; really like the rusted textures.
