Wow...what a car and what a capture. This is just gorgeous. sherri @ March 14, 2009
Will not try to guess what kind of car this is. Has an italian look to it, though.
Beautiful photo. Almost looks monochromatic. I can see that you looked through the viewfinder very carefully at this. Probably deconstructed it into lines and curves and placed them accordingly. It paid off.
This slice was poured, not fabricated !!!!
Even by the slice , just a tad above my budget !!!
Great shot all the same !!! fobbo @ March 16, 2009
So sexy! I love how you framed this and caught the reflections in the fender. Nice work! SD (Aspherical) @ March 16, 2009
Terrific capture. I'd like a car like this:-) Rachael @ March 16, 2009
Here you have really captured a more beautiful part of the car. Nice lines and curves! Claus Petersen @ March 17, 2009
This photo caught my eye when browsing over on VFXY... and I think it's neat. The tones and the shape of the car are definitely interesting. I just find some of the details distracting. I might have been tempted to try a close crop or even a square crop of the right side of the frame and cut out the ground, the tire, the reflection of the red car... and maybe even the leaves you can see near the top reflected on the hood. Everything is there, I just found those details detracted a bit from the otherwise striking clean look of the lines and tones. Jim (365,000 words) @ March 17, 2009
Great lines...really like the framing here...! Susan @ March 17, 2009
What I love about this picture is everything that distinguishes it from a brochure shot. The asphalt looks more like a carpet than a surface you'd drive on. The hint of a tire is the only thing that tells you you're not looking at a spacecraft. And the reflections reveal the complex surface of the car. I especially like the red reflection that accentuates the dramatic curve of the fender.
This picture makes me think about how even the beautiful, sleek and high-tech objects we create are still just a part of our world and, in a way, a reflection of it. Everything in this image, the red car, the silver car, the building, trees and pavement, coexist and play off one another to create a visible environment beyond the picture plane. And, without these hints of the world around it, the silver car would just be a shiny object – devoid of any character. D @ March 17, 2009
Maranello??? Are you sure that this is a Ferrari??
Anyway the lines are just superb, yes it is just a slice of aesthetics and happiness. Thank you Denis @ March 27, 2009
The lines and colors are wonderful in this shot! Great job ;) Framed and Shot @ November 01, 2009
